Kokoda Historical will be conducting an information evening for us. They will talk about the trek, requirements and what to expect. They provide a complete living history experience and focus not only on the exciting adventure of the trek itself but also on the historical events as they happened. If you would like to learn more about the trek, as we are doing it (an extension to our Rabaul trip in 2018) or if you would simply like to attend to learn more about the trek itself from people who have walked the trail many times then please come along. It is certainly a very different connection to diving, as most of the links to the military and war are usually dived upon (such as ship wrecks) but nevertheless a very big part of the Papua New Guinea and Australia war time history.
