Diving the caves & cenotes of Yucatan, Mexico – Fri 7 July, 7pm

GUE Instructor Nick Schoeffler will present on a fabulous dive destination.
The caves and Cenotes of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico have been attracting divers for years, and are the subject of exploration, videos and books. Come along to this month’s meeting to hear about diving in the region, some of the recent projects in the area, and footage of the decorated underwater caves.

Nick never really considered himself as someone who would enjoy diving in caves; but after training in Florida and a number of extended trips to Mexico, he’s definitely hooked.  In his talk, he’ll tell you why he’s so passionate about the caves in Mexico, some of the projects being run in the area, and some of the great diving available there – including rarely dived caves, haloclines, Mayan artefacts, ancients bones and firepits.

We’d love you to join us whether you want to cave dive or not, this is a really cool and informative presentation! Please email us an RSVP.
