March news…..

Sad to say that Summer is already over!  Certainly and once again, it has been a below par Summer as far as the weather is concerned with colder than average temperatures once again this last month.  Having said that, diving conditions have been OK with some of our recent boat and shore dives turning it on for divers both on courses and dive club outings.

Looking ahead, we want to remind everyone of a very special forthcoming dive club event to be held on 17 March 2023 with our special guest Dr. Elodie Camprasse, Deakin University Marine Biologist, speaking to us about the amazing annual event that takes place every year right here in our very own back yard, something that has put Melbourne’s underwater scene on the world map as seen on Sir David Attenborough’s documentary BLUE PLANET II. 

We are working with Elodie to involve attendees of this club night on some citizen science projects that Elodie is heading up. Please note this event is for current club members only.
