July SCUBA news ….

July news It’s hard to believe that only 3 weeks ago I was diving in stunning, tropical Fiji! Leaving Melbourne at 4am with 6 degrees displayed on the dashboard as the external temperature and landing later that evening in Nadi in 29 degrees was a shock to the system but it was a good shock!

Luckily enough, we’ve been able to get 3 trips away back to back, Christmas Island led by our instructor Sue with her trip report here: https://www.scubaculture.com.au/2022/06/10/winter-trading-hours/?fbclid=IwAR3m3fZ1U6y-MzKJyT4mkrwQ87vpIIpUz6JoloH4xy_Xpyuqk-O8k_4ZoHQ .

My trip to Fiji with the trip report here: https://www.scubaculture.com.au/2022/06/23/voli-voli-beach-resort-fiji-trip-review/?fbclid=IwAR0VAGYVX8rf4smqQFdUCClR9BeuMfBMDoKEzXGBvZOLiZL_aU7156pdhPc

We also have a group diving the Galapagos with a trip extension to Machu Pichu led by our Store Manager Ben, (a trip report will be published in due course following Bens’ return).

We still had 2 trips to see off for 2022, a full ship booking to the Coral Sea and a trip to the Solomon Islands, but due to various reasons including no planned or scheduled flights to the Solomons, the trip has been pushed back to 2023. Our trip to the Coral Sea is all set to run, everything is looking awesome for this crew with once again, Ben in charge of the trip.  Although the 2023 travel calendar looks somewhat skinny, fear not, we’re working and discussing a few potential destinations…. More information to be provided as it avails itself (i.e. A live-aboard trip to Komodo and Raja-Ampat!)

One thing for sure is that we’ve already secured a group booking for 2024, returning to Voli Voli Beach Resort in Fiji, holding a variety of different room categories to suit all divers and all budgets with 2 duration options, a 7 and 10 days. Details of the trip can be found here: https://www.scubaculture.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/FIJI-FLYER-2024.pdf and with a payment pl an option, the trip cost can be spread over 2 years and multiple payments!
