November news

On the back end of one of the coldest and wettest Octobers on record, it’s time to begin looking forward to some warmth, having said that, the start of November hasn’t broken any heat records either, but we have begun to feel a change and a greater level of participation on diving activities.  The November Cray season club boat dive was booked out and the Dine, Dive and Drink event at the end of November with only 2 places left as well.

An interesting statistic has shown us that the bay temperature of the month of October for the first time since bay temperature records have been kept actually went backwards recording colder waters in October than that of the month of September!!!

Hopefully November and December will see a return to what we are used to for that time of the year.

We are super excited about the launch of our Philippines 2017 dive trip to Atmosphere Resort in Dumaguete (more on that destination later in the newsletter) and the success of our interstate events which prompts me to announce that we have 2 people who are offering up their place on the South West Rocks dive trip dollar for dollar, meaning that you can slot in and pay them direct instead of us!

The South West Rocks dive trip is amazing value for money and being run by one of our amazing staff member and instructor Christine.

Outside of all the exciting news about our dive club activities and dive destinations, we have been incredibly busy at SCUBA CULTURE with the amount of training being delivered at all levels from Open Water through to Dive Control Specialist with the Dive Con training coming to an end around the middle of November, there will be 12 new Dive Cons eager to lead divers on club dives and to jump in with Open Water courses to get their runs on the board as they eye off the 2017 Instructor programs!

Check out or DECEMBER promotion where we put the message out to families with a great offer to get mums and dads trained up at the same time as the kids with a great deal! A free Apollo mask and snorkel when they buy their fins for their Open Water course.

Full time course 13 to 16 December 2016!
