As we write this, freezing our bums off in Melbourne, Xavier and a group of excited divers are literally on their flight headed across to the Island of Espiritu Santo in Vanuatu.  They have some great diving on the Wreck of the President Coolidge to look forward to not to mention the tropical warmth of Vanuatu.

Winter is officially upon us and it has certainly hit like a sledge hammer! The up-side is that Winter makes for some great diving with better visibility due to less daylight hours, less people at dive sites and on boats.

Our recent dry suit presentation night was a real hit with another great crowd joining us to be shown the latest offerings from both SCUBAPRO & CRESSI.

Additionally to the drysuit presentation, we were all in for a little treat with Brett bringing out SCUBAPRO’s latest offering in the world of BC’s – that being the Hydros.

The HYDROS will take the diving world by storm, this BC has to be dived in to be believed, the drastic drop in the amount of lead being carried is what will drive the success of this product. I went from diving in my 7/5 with 18lbs of lead to 2lbs of lead, whilst some of our other members of the crew were diving with 0 lead!
Keep an eye out for our facebook and website posts for more information on the HYDROS as it comes to hand!

We look forward to hearing the stories on the return of the Scuba Culture divers from Vanuatu as well.
