 The Scuba Culture dive club has been formed to give our members what they want and need out of their club. We have been able to do this by asking questions, looking at our track record of successful events over the years, and offering club members incentives to be active.
Here are a few of our annual events:
- Our annual pilgrimage to South Australia's diving Mecca, Kangaroo Island.
- The Dive, Dine & Taste long week-end, travelling to Pt. McDonnel on the Victorian / South Australian border, diving Ewen's Ponds, stress free, clear, freshwater diving, the reef shore dives of Pt McDonnel, and travelling to South Australia's Coonawarra region wine tasting.
- Dive Papua New Guinea where we have booked out the entire resort. Be part of the biggest and best international dive trip on the calendar! Explore Kavieng staying at the Nusa Island Retreat, 9 - 19 July & 23 July - 2 August 2009
- Dive Uepi Island in the Solomons from 18 - 25 August 2009 diving the amazing walls and drop offs, seeing all marine creatures great and small
- Dive Raki Raki in Fiji staying at Wananavu Resort, 22 - 30 September 2009, running during the school holidays making it the ideal family diving, snorkeling and just having fun in the sun getaway
- Club boat dives ex-Queenscliff and Portsea, with our affiliate "Dive Victoria".
- Organised, dive-mastered shore dives, lead by one or more of our professional divemasters, exploring shorelines East and West of Port Phillip bay.
- Catch and cook days and week-ends (scallops, abalone, crayfish).
- Month ending club evenings with guest speakers.
- Club BBQ's at Scuba Culture.
- Regular newsletter & calendar of events.
- Weekly dives, email broadcast to members weekly.
- After work club drinks every Friday night, catch up with old friends, make new ones, hook up with dive buddies for the week end's dives.
- Month ending Club Night with a host of various activities and nibbles supplied.
